This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our mobile application, FitSekai (“the App”).
1. What Information Do We Collect?
A. Personal Health and Fitness Data (Stored Locally)
FitSekai is designed as an “offline-first” application. When you log your workouts, weight, personal records (1-RM, Max Reps, Max Time), and custom routines, this data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, collect, or store your personal health data on our own external servers.
B. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information through third-party services to ensure the App functions correctly. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include:
- Device and Usage Information: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous data such as device type, operating system version, country, and how you interact with the App (e.g., which screens you visit). This helps us understand what features our users like and how to improve the App.
- Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics. If the App crashes, an anonymous report is generated containing the line of code that failed and device state information. This allows us to fix bugs quickly.
C. Payment Information
If you choose to purchase a FitSekai Premium subscription, your payment is processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, billing details, or names. We only receive an anonymous digital token from Google confirming whether you have an active subscription.
2. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share anonymous, non-identifying information with the following third-party service providers to facilitate the App’s core functions:
- Google Play Services: For processing in-app subscriptions.
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): For monitoring app stability and anonymous usage metrics.

3. Health Connect Data Integration
FitSekai offers users the option to integrate with Android Health Connect. If you explicitly grant permission, FitSekai will write workout data (such as active calories burned and workout duration) to Health Connect so you can track your progress across your device’s ecosystem.
How we handle Health Connect Data:
- Local Processing Only: All data is processed locally on your device. FitSekai does not transmit, store, or upload your Health Connect data to any external servers.
- No Third-Party Sharing: FitSekai will never sell, transfer, or use your Health Connect data for advertising, marketing, or data broker purposes.
- User Control: You can revoke FitSekai’s access to Health Connect at any time via your device settings, and FitSekai will instantly cease reading or writing data.
4. Android Auto Backup (Google Drive)
To prevent data loss if you lose or change your device, FitSekai utilizes Android’s built-in Auto Backup feature. This means your local database (your workout history and profile) may be securely backed up to your personal, hidden Google Drive account. We do not have access to this backup. You can manage or disable this feature within your Android device’s system settings.
5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Because your personal health and workout data is stored locally on your device, it is kept for as long as you keep the App installed. You have full control over your data. You can delete specific workout logs, clear all history, or export/import your database directly within the App’s settings. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all local data associated with it.
6. Age Restrictions & Children’s Privacy
FitSekai is intended strictly for users aged 18 and older. Our App does not address anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
7. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this privacy notice frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
